**About the Mental Health Program**
Monash Health Mental Health Program provides a range of community, bed-based and specialist services covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash LGAs - a population of nearly one million. It has an operational budget of $130 million and employs approximately 820 EFT, representing over 1000 staff.
Psychology & Specialist Services (PsySS) in the mental health program runs a number of programs across Monash Health including the Wellness and Recovery Centre. WRC is a specialist eating disorder service offering comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and evidence based treatment to individuals affected by anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, and other specified eating disorder (OSFD).
Services include:
- Adults (18-65yo) Inpatient treatment
- Adults (18-65yo) Outpatient treatment
- Day Program (12-24yo)
**About WRC Day Program**
The Monash Health Wellness and Recovery Centre (WRC) Day Program is a community-based specialised service providing client-centred, holistic intervention to young people (12-24 years) presenting with severe and complex eating disorders. The program offers comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, nutritional management, meal support and therapeutic interventions across the group setting.
**About The Role**
The Dietician position is a Grade 2 0.6EFT ongoing position.
The role operates as part of a wider, multidisciplinary team at Day Program including Mental Health Clinicians, Senior Psychologist, Consultant and Manager.
This role would suit an experienced Dietician who is passionate about supporting the recovery of young people with an eating disorder. The ability to engage and work with young people and their families/supports on an individual level will be highly regarded. This role suits someone who wants to be part of the ongoing development of a service known for innovation to improve the health and wellbeing of people with an eating disorder.
**What you need**:
- Eligibility for Membership of Dietician Association Australia
- Accredited practising Dietician Program (APD)
- Working with Children's Check
- Eating Disorder/Mental Health experience preferred
- Australian working rights
