We are currently the largest CREST Registered Penetration Testing company in Melbourne and one of the only boutiques to run a 24x7x365 Security Operations Team completely onshore.As a part of the ongoing maturity of Triskele Labs, we are seeking an experienced Security Engineer.The Security Engineer is responsible for technical implementations and assessments working primarily with the Security Operations Team.
This role will carry out technical security tasks aligned with the Security Operations Centre and Strategy Implementation while also maintaining internal Triskele Labs Systems including Microsoft365, Amazon Web Services, MyFiles, and PhishAway.
This is an extremely varied role across a wide spectrum of security operations.RequirementsSpecific activities, duties, and deliverables include but are not limited to the following:Deploy SOC services at client sites to support security operations.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SOC configurations.Conduct onsite security assessments and reviews.Create SOC architecture diagrams for implementation and documentation.Perform cloud security reviews across platforms like AWS and Microsoft 365.Support internal systems by providing technical assistance and maintenance.Deploy internal tools and systems to meet operational needs.Maintain and secure Triskele Labs infrastructure and SaaS systems.Carry out additional technical tasks as required.Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of technical security operationsDemonstrated hands-on Active Directory knowledge including Group policiesUnderstanding of network architecture such as segmentation, firewalling, and TCP/IPKnowledge of cloud environments and architectureWindows and Linux experienceAbility to multi-task, time management skills essential.Professional verbal and written communication skills.Good time management skillsOperates with a high degree of flexibility.Strong attention to detailPersonal Attributes:Excellent Written and Spoken EnglishStrategic Thinking and Problem solvingAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamInterpersonal skillsUnderstanding of other cultures and belief systems to function as part of a team.Certifications & Courses:Any certifications in the Microsoft SC or AZ suiteSANS courses / GIAC certificationsRapid7 CertificationsCrowdStrike CertificationsAWS Administrator CertificationsElastic CertificationsCompTIA Security+CISSPCCNABenefits:Team culture is everything to Triskele Labs and it is the reason we exist.
