About the role
Join a dynamic, digital-first team operating extended and 24/7 hours. As an In-Shift Support Lead, you will report into the Senior Lead, Practice and Risk where you will provide real-time clinical and operational support to frontline staff managing complex or high-risk situations, including suicide risk and duty of care concerns. Making up a team of In-Shift Support Leads, you will offer debriefing, ensure appropriate escalation pathways are followed, and participate in the after-hours on-call roster.
You’ll also deliver direct support to participants requiring additional care, including recovery and safety planning, digital check-ins and single-session support. The role includes triaging incidents and complaints to determine appropriate response or escalation.

Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Work and collaborate within a team of In-Shift Leads to deliver consistent and timely responses to practice and risk management support request
* Provide real-time support to staff navigating practice protocols and digital workflows to ensure the delivery of high quality, person-centred and outcome-focused services
* Facilitate timely debriefing with staff delivering services to participants after distressing interactions such as disclosures of trauma or self-harm
* Participate in the after-hours on-call roster to provide in-shift support to staff working evenings, weekends and public holidays
* Review participant recovery and/or safety plans, provide trauma informed, individualised feedback to support recovery
* Conduct asynchronous digital check-ins or proactive outreach with participants identified as potentially benefiting from additional or higher intensity support
About You:
* You will hold one of the following qualifications
1. AHPRA as a registered psychologist, mental health nurse
2. ACA- minimum level 2
3. AASW/AMHSW – Full membership, Mental Health Credential
* Have a minimum of 4 years post-qualification supervised practice
* Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a community management role, ideally with specific experience within a mental health context
* Commitment to trauma informed, recovery oriented, person centred and culturally competent service provision
* Ability to work independently and adaptively in a fast-paced, evolving online environment
