Role title: Senior Project OfficerGrade: Clerk Grade 9/10Team: Digital Licensing Project TeamDuration: Up to 12 monthsLocation: FlexibleEnquires / Hiring Manager: Danielle LarsenClosing Date: 16th June 2025 (9:59am)About the team:The new temporary Digital Licensing Project Team sits within the SafeWork NSW Authorisations & Verifications Directorate in the Regulatory Capability & Harm Prevention stream. The team is responsible the governance and management of the transition of all SafeWork licenses from GLS to the Licence. NSW Amanda platform by 30 June 2026.The project team will establish a revised governance model for the migration of licences to AMANDA and will be responsible for:Improved SafeWork governance framework including making strategic decisions and ensuring clear deliverables are agreed and metDeveloping agreed service standards and approval processes between SafeWork and GTPOversee business readiness across all schemesReviewing fraud prevention strategies/requirements due to removal of two-part processing in AMANDA and other systems limitationsEngaging and implementing change program with High Risk Work RTOs and AssessorsThe team will also be responsible for a range of strategic and operational functions.Key Responsibilities include:Manage strategic projects to successfully deliver all key milestones and outcomes.Assist with training rollout to High Risk Work RTOs and AssessorsUAT testing coordinationOversee work instructions and procedures developmentManage PIA and PCNsManage internal/external stakeholdersRisk ManagementKey attributes:An analytical thinker who can critically review information and clearly distil it into possible solutions to help solve complex problems.Highly organised, with strong skills in project management and attention to detail.A high level of personal motivation and an ability to demonstrate flexibility and resilience in an environment of changing or competing priorities.A proactive person who can work independently and deliver high quality outputs to tight deadlines, with minimal supervisionThrives in the development of effective stakeholder relationships, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues in internal and external teams to enable decisions and outcomes.The process:If you would like to apply, please submit your CV along with a cover letter of no more 2 pages, addressing the following:How you demonstrate the above capabilitiesA short paragraph on why you believe you are the right person for the roleA talent pool may be created from this recruitment process to fill future ongoing and temporary opportunities.Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at base plus superannuationClick Here to access the Role Description.
