About the Role
As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and supporting learning initiatives across the board. This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that build workforce capability, foster career development, and promote culturally safe practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with senior managers to maintain and update job descriptions.
* Identify training needs through consultation with staff and managers via regular performance reviews.
* Provide guidance, support and arrange learning programs that enhance professional growth, cultural competency, and clinical excellence.
* Coordinate external training providers and manage logistics and administration.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive training calendar and learning management system in conjunction with HR systems.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
* Support career development pathways, including mentoring, coaching and succession planning.
* Promote continuous learning and a positive learning culture throughout the organization.
* Ensure all learning initiatives reflect cultural safety and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
