Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer to support the General Medicine Unit at John Hunter Hospital. This is a temporary full-time role (38 hrs/week) until May ****, with a full salary package, superannuation, and salary packaging options.
Responsibilities
Clinical typing and handling phone inquiries.
Managing digital medical records and room bookings.
Coordinating clinic bookings and scheduling.
Assisting with Grand Rounds, including flyer creation and liaison with presenters.
Distributing General Medicine Roster and On-Call Roster.
Coordinating distribution of Advanced Trainee Education Sessions.
Performing a range of administrative duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Proactive, "can-do" attitude.
Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.
Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail with confidentiality.
Effective communication with medical, allied health, and administrative staff.
