Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with customers within their assigned territory. This role requires regular travel to meet clients, acting as their primary point of contact to address needs and resolve issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Build relationships by responding to customer emails and calls, providing support, and preparing quotations to meet their needs.
* Plan and coordinate sales trips to visit customers and strengthen relationships.
* Be the face of innovation by developing strategies to enhance sales within your territory and identifying new business opportunities.
* Manage and update the CRM platform to track sales cycles, customer interactions, and opportunities.
* Collaborate and grow by completing internal reports to track progress, share insights, and align with sales objectives.
Requirements
* Territory-Based Location – Must be based within the managed region and available for quarterly in-person meetings in Auckland.
* Sales and Customer Relationship Experience – Previous experience in sales or project roles, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Communication and Problem-Solving Skills – Strong written and verbal skills, with a proactive approach to customer needs and issues.
* Technical and Organizational Skills – High computer literacy, experience with CRM platforms, and maintaining accurate records.
* Flexibility and Travel Readiness – Ability to travel within the region for customer visits, industry events, and occasional international training or team activities.
* Team Player and Positive Culture Contributor: A collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues and foster a positive team environment.
