An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our market-leading Corporate team in Perth and contribute to the delivery of high quality legal support across the firm.
You will work closely with and support one partner and a team of lawyers, delivering exceptional performance to enable the team to provide outstanding client service on a variety transactional matters for high profile clients. You will be a proactive and organised legal assistant who can work in a fast paced practice, ideally with experience in a Corporate or similar transactional practice area.
Key responsibilities
Liaising with clients and other stakeholders 
File management 
Managing calendars 
Billing, time coding and reporting 
Arranging travel (including flights and accommodation) 
Assisting with events and business development activities 
Supporting the broader Corporate team on an as-needs basis where required
Required skills and personal attributes
Outstanding organisational and time management skills 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
Exceptional attention to detail 
Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision 
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) 
Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software 
Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
