Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to join our team as an HR Manager. As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in managing employee relations, providing strategic HR advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide HR guidance and support to senior management on employment-related matters.
* Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
* Oversee day-to-day HR administration tasks, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
* Coordinate new employee onboarding processes, including paperwork and orientation.
* Develop and implement training programs for employees, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
* Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
* Prepare regular reports on HR metrics and trends.
* Travel to national and regional offices as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related field.
* Strong understanding of employment law, Fair Work Act, and HR best practices.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in the construction industry.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
* Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
