Multiskilled Operator
Mackay Regional Council is currently seeking a Multiskilled Operator to join our Civil Operations team at Sarina Depot. This position offers a permanent full-time opportunity with a 9-day fortnight roster.
As a Multiskilled Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction and maintenance projects for roads, drainage assets, and other civil infrastructure. Working under limited supervision, you'll utilize your expertise to operate machinery efficiently and safely.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
* Current General Construction Safety \"White\" Card.
* Valid QLD Heavy Rigid Truck ‘HR’ Class Licence.
* QLD “C” Class Drivers Licence or equivalent from interstate.
* Competency certificate for the operation of road construction plant equipment.
* Experience in civil construction, particularly in roads and drainage infrastructure.
* Previous experience in concrete works.
Applicants holding additional certifications such as a Certificate III in Civil Construction, Traffic Controllers Ticket, and/or HC Truck Licence will be highly regarded.
