About Our Client Our client is a well-established, Australian-owned telecommunications provider with a national footprint and a growing team on the Gold Coast. They deliver flexible communications and connectivity solutions to both business and residential customers. As the organisation continues to grow, they’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their local finance team. About the ROLE This is a hands-on, end-to-end AR role, supporting the Gold Coast customer base while also collaborating with a broader finance function that includes an offshore team. Reporting to the Manager of Finance and Administration and working closely with another AR officer, your day-to-day will include: Setting up new customer accounts and performing credit checks Generating and issuing invoices, including monthly billing runs Updating customer details and processing billing adjustments Entering and reconciling customer payments Managing overdue accounts – including email follow-ups, payment plans, and service restrictions Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email Assisting with internal reporting, system improvements, and process documentation Supporting other team members and providing backup where needed About YOU This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and working within a mature, friendly team. While prior AR experience is highly valued, we’re also open to broader finance and administration professionals seeking a stable, hands-on transactional role.
