The Cooinda Mental Health inpatient unit is a state-of-the-art 33-bed acute unit for those aged 18 and over. With private, well-equipped rooms, patients have use of the dining room, laundry, lounge areas, visitors' lounge, outdoor areas, music room, art and craft room, therapy rooms and gymnasium. Our service provides assessment and evidence-based treatment for patients experiencing, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)/trauma, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, addictions, complex needs due to a mental illness, as well as young adult and older persons mental health needs. Your part in our Buderim Hospital team Reporting to the Assistant Director of Clinical Services, you will oversee the operational leadership and development of our Cooinda Mental Health Unit, applying your operational knowledge, leadership capability and communication skills to effectively lead your team to success across our state-of-the-art complex. You’ll collaborate effectively with other healthcare leader in the hospital, including Nurse Management, working together to deliver optimal patient-outcomes through advancing the delivery of exceptional clinical care.
