**About the service**
Our Mental Health Drugs and Alcohol Services (MHDAS), provides integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues, and their families.
Our service is internationally recognised for its innovative clinical programs and integrated models of practice that are client centred, accessible and family inclusive. We are fortunate to enjoy terrific internal relationships and have developed excellent partnerships with the local community that provide for seamless integrated care for our clients.
MHDAS is entering a new phase of co-design of our service system with people who access our services and our wider community. This will build on our nationally recognized unique cultural approach to the challenges of recovery oriented service delivery to redesign our service system.
**About you**
- Formal professionally recognised qualifications in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology
- Demonstrated relevant clinical experience, particularly in community mental health settings
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership and operational management skills working in a complex health environment with multiple funding streams, including demonstrated ability to monitor, analyse and interpret data
**About the role**
As the successful applicant, you will provide effective leadership, operational management and vision for MHDAS Statewide Services and partnerships, including:
- Developing and maintaining strong and sustainable collaborative relationships and clinical oversight between MHDAS and relevant external stakeholders
- Daily operational management of the HOPs, Family Violence, FaPMi and Forensic programs
- Monitoring MHDAS data recording in relation to EIPSR, AAPs HOPs, Family Violence, FaPMi and Forensic programs others as required to ensure appropriate and efficient use of these resources across MHDAS
- To ensure services are high quality, innovative, evidence based and uphold the Barwon Health MHDAS principles of recovery orientated practice
