Our client is a nationally recognised force in structural steel, design, fabrication and installation. With a strong track record of delivery across major projects, they are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead sales and client growth across Queensland.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a key region, building on strong national capability while securing projects across the commercial, industrial, and resources sectors.
Your Role Will Include:
* Expanding and strengthening the QLD client base across commercial, industrial markets
* Developing pursuit strategies and securing opportunities with Tier 1 & 2 contractors, EPCMs, and principal project owners
* Leading tenders and proposals in collaboration with estimating, design, and procurement teams
* Representing the QLD business in negotiations and client engagement, backed by a strong national delivery team
* Managing pipeline activity, CRM reporting, forecasting, and win/loss analysis
* Acting as a key driver of business growth while aligning with national strategy
What You'll Bring:
* Proven track record in business development within structural steel, fabrication, industrial construction, or mining projects
* Strong understanding of QLD's resources, infrastructure, or commercial construction sectors
* Experience managing complex tenders and building lasting client relationships
* Commercial acumen with the ability to balance margin and delivery certainty
* A driven, results-focused mindset with the ability to work independently
