The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Baker to improve day-to-day processes and efficiencies, ensuring high-quality products are consistently produced.
Key responsibilities include:
* Experienced in mixing, baking (ovens) and shaping and finishing
* Working with the Head Baker to improve day-to-day processes & efficiencies
* Championing a culture of safety and quality through training, setting high standards, and leading by example.
* Collaborating to identify and rectify quality issues swiftly.
* Innovate - we are looking for a sourdough enthusiast
* Promptly reporting any major malfunctions of plant and equipment
* Always Maintaining impeccable housekeeping standards.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
* Minimum 2 years experience with sourdough mixing starters and baking.
* Flexibility - early starts in the days, evenings, and weekend shifts.
* Hands-on with high energy and an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
* Great communication skills.
* Self-motivated and autonomous work ethic, coupled with a strong team spirit.
* The ability to meet deadlines and achieve production targets consistently.
* Some Experience with HACCAP, AQ Systems and process and OH&S
