About the role
The City of Sydney has an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic professional to join our Social City Team that work with our residents, workers and visitors to support the creation of a resilient, socially connected and cohesive community.
In this role, you'll support the development of social policy, undertaking research, evaluation and preparing policy advice that is consistent with our strategic directions. You'll also provide high level administrative services to the team.
We're looking for someone with:
* social science qualification or relevant work experience in policy development, community development and/or program management
* demonstrated skills and experience in supporting the development, delivery, and evaluation of social policies and programs through research, data analysis, and documentation
* strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to confidently engage with diverse community members and stakeholders, including people with disability and older people.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
