About The Role
We're looking for a passionate and driven
Business Development Executive
to join our Sales & Marketing team and help grow our
MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events)
business. This role is ideal for someone currently working in a
Conference & Events team
at a 4 or 5-star hotel or event centre, who's ready to transition into a client-facing sales role.
You'll be mentored by the Director of Sales and supported by a collaborative team, with opportunities to learn, travel, and grow your career in hospitality sales.

Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and event planners
* Use your operational knowledge to tailor solutions and win business
* Source new opportunities and follow up on leads
* Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts
* Conduct site inspections and represent the hotel on interstate sales trips
* Contribute ideas and initiatives to support business growth
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a Conference & Events role at a 4 or 5-star hotel or event centre
* A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
* Patience, perseverance, and a "never give up" mindset
* Professional presentation and excellent communication skills
* A passion for hospitality and a desire to succeed in Sales
* Understanding of event operations and client needs
