About the Role
Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is recruiting experienced Physiotherapists to deliver clinical education services for students on placement in acute care or musculoskeletal outpatient settings. The role involves planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating high‐quality physiotherapy student education while maintaining excellent patient care across NALHN services.
Responsibilities
• Report to the Director of Physiotherapy and lead the development, coordination and delivery of student clinical education services. • Ensure students gain meaningful, supported placement experiences and achieve learning outcomes. • Collaborate with university partners, physiotherapy colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to provide high‐level clinical education and leadership. • Support optimal patient functional and health outcomes, mentor and supervise less experienced staff, assist in service development and adapt to evolving education and service needs.
Requirements
• Hold a recognised Degree or equivalent qualification and be registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. • Demonstrated expertise in acute in‐patient and/or outpatient physiotherapy assessment and treatment and experience in student clinical education. • Ability to work with minimal supervision in fast‐paced clinical environments, manage caseloads and competing priorities. • Strong clinical reasoning, leadership, communication and time‐management skills. • Ability to build partnerships with culturally diverse patients, families, universities and multidisciplinary stakeholders. • Commitment to continuous professional development aligned with NALHN objectives.
