Job Description
We are seeking a Food Services Assistant to work collaboratively in a busy department. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of food trays for patient consumption, deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays in accordance with established meal schedules. They will also assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly.
Responsibilities
* Prepare food trays for patient consumption
* Deliver, serve and collect patient food requirements and meal trays
* Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
* Clean and sanitize food service equipment in accordance with hospital and industry food safety and hygiene standards
Requirements
* Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
* Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
* Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as part of a team
* Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts and weekend work
* No working holiday visa accepted
