**The Role**
Are you seeking an opportunity to support and enable Defence Intelligence Mission and shape the future of DIG's estate and property portfolio? The APS 5 Facilities Property Officer is accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve property management and minor projects work within an integrated workforce. Specifically, the APS 5 Facilities Property Officer will:
- Act on feasibility studies & condition reports for sites.
- Assist with planning & implementing minor & major refurbishments projects.
- Support to Estate Works Program service delivery agents.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legislative requirements & compliance.
- Property risk mitigation & escalation.
- Major incident response.
- Coordinate routine & emergent works.
- Major & medium relocations and fit-outs.
- Trades access & escorting.

DIG has an extensive and growing property portfolio located throughout the Australian mainland, its territories and overseas. In conjunction with Security and Estate Group's delivery arms, DIG's Estate Planning and Property team is responsible for the delivery of estate management and property services, and provision of strategic estate planning advice and accommodation management that collectively ensure the DIG estate is safe, fit-for-purpose, secure and supports the DIG's activities and outcomes.
DIG is seeking a motivated person to join the Estate Planning and Property directorate to further contribute to the Estate Planning and Property function. To be successful in this role you will:
