Overview
The Department of Communities (Communities) delivers disability services, child protection and family support, community initiatives and regional services reform. The Business Services Division provides corporate services that support operational excellence through the provision of strong data, financial, information governance and systems, facilities and emergency relief outcomes through business partnering and close engagement with customers. This appointment is within the Professional Standards Directorate, responsible for building and supporting a positive workplace culture where staff operate with integrity, are accountable, ethical and make informed decisions that consider risk, and drive continuous improvement practices.
Role Statement
The Executive Director Professional Standards is accountable for leading integrity, professional standards, risk, business continuity planning, assurance, complaints, Duty of Care, and audit functions of the Department of Communities.
Responsibilities
A dedicated multiple area leader who can lead small teams and ensure the department operates with integrity and builds a positive workplace culture. This position will build on the department's existing comprehensive approach and drive continuous improvement across the agency.
