Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Geoscience Stream, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Geoscience/Geophysics Background: A strong background in geoscience or geophysics is essential, with a focus on assessing the hydrocarbon potential of sedimentary basins and prospects.
Seismic Data Analysis: Experience in seismic data analysis, including structural and stratigraphic interpretation, geophysical modeling, velocity analysis, and depth conversion, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Regional Basin Analysis: Responsible for assessing the hydrocarbon potential of sedimentary basins and prospects, including regional basin analysis.
* Hydrocarbon Systems Analysis: Conduct detailed structural and stratigraphic studies incorporating surface and subsurface information, hydrocarbon play analysis, and risk assessment.
* Seismic Data Analysis: Perform seismic data analysis, including structural and stratigraphic interpretation, geophysical modeling, velocity analysis, and depth conversion.
