We are currently seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our passionate and high-performing FOH team in Lotus Dumpling Bar Circular Quay. This is a dynamic, hands-on role perfect for an existing Senior waiter/Team Leader ready for a new challenge in one of Sydney's most sought-after locations.
What You'll Bring to Lotus
* Proven experiencen in a busy, high-volume, and premium dining environment, ideally as a Senior Waiter or existing Team Leader.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a warm, professional, and efficient service style.
* Strong knowledge of food service, NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) practices, and a confident understanding of wine and beverage service.
* The ability to confidently manage a section, lead junior staff, and maintain performance under pressure.
* A positive, resilient, and team-focused attitude, with a strong work ethic.
* Availiablity for Monday - Saturday is required, including evenings and weekends, in line with the high demand of our Circular Quay venue operations.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be crucial in ensuring a seamless and exceptional dining experience for our guests.
* Ensuring service standards are consistently exceeded.
* Provide attentive, personalised service, accurately taking orders and handling payments.
* Act as a menu and beverage expert, making tailored recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
* Assist the manager with opening/closing duties, including cash-up procedures and service preparation.
* Handle all guest inquiries, requests, and minor concerns efficiently and professionally.
* Ensure full compliance with all NSW Food Safety and RSA regulations at all times.
* Maintain a clean, well-presented, and operationally ready dining area
