The Opportunity
CSR are looking for a
Sales Excellence Lead
to be based in
Melbourne
at either our
Yarraville
or
Scoresby
site. This role will guide the implementation of world-class sales effectiveness programs across our operation. This is a strategic role that combines process improvement, capability development, and leadership coaching to deliver measurable business outcomes.
You will partner closely with Sales Managers and frontline teams to embed best practices, optimize tools and processes, and ensure alignment between sales strategy and execution. Key Responsibilities
Drive Sales Effectiveness Programs
* Lead the rollout and adoption of core sales initiatives including account planning, opportunity management, value selling, and sales call effectiveness.
* Collaborate with Sales Managers to embed new tools and processes into daily workflows.
* Identify capability gaps and design targeted enablement programs to uplift team performance.
Enable and Sustain Sales Excellence Frameworks
* Maintain and enhance CRM standards, reporting dashboards, and sales tools to ensure usability and impact.
* Align processes, tools, and frontline behaviours to deliver consistent customer engagement.
* Establish feedback loops and continuous improvement cycles to adapt programs to market changes.
Partner with Sales Leadership
* Coach and develop Sales Managers to strengthen leadership capability and drive team performance.
* Translate strategic priorities into actionable team plans and measurable outcomes.
* Share insights and best practices to improve pipeline management, forecasting, and sales rhythm.
Measure and Report on Sales Performance
* Monitor key metrics such as tool adoption, capability uplift, win rates, and pipeline health.
* Provide actionable recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and productivity.
