About the Role
Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by conducting maintenance activities in accordance with relevant regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex composite repairs and possess high-level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge.
* Key responsibilities include:
o Conducting maintenance in accordance with relevant regulations
o Undertaking aircraft maintenance activities within quality authorisations as directed by supervisors
o Ensuring all aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance activities are conducted effectively, efficiently, and performed, supervised, inspected, and certified in compliance with industry standards
o Identifying new opportunities for enhancement of maintenance services
Requirements
* Diploma Aeroskills (Structures) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation
* Knowledge and experience in complex composite repairs including Carbon Composites
* High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability in the relevant environment
* Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
* Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
* Knowledge of and experience using CAMM2 is an advantage
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol testing.
