Description
We are looking for a talented Field Service - Technician to join our team in Tamworth.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* First responder to breakdown events
* Fleet maintenance
* Capturing engine data
* Fault diagnostics
* Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor
* Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment
* Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
* The face of Cummins at the customer site
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experience
* Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary)
* Strong engine diagnostic experience
* The ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periods
* A genuine commitment to workplace safety
* A valid driver’s license
* Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
Qualifications
Qualifications for Internal Candidates:
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area and toolbox.
* Have good attention to detail and enthusiasm to deliver the customer with a quality repair.
* Engine rebuild and major experience preferred but not essential.
* Experience with the Cummins product is preferred but not essential.
