THE ROLE
We are currently seeking applications to join our Paste Fill Crew team working at Olympic Dam. This is a FIFO role with a 14 days on and 14 days off roster and will have a Fixed Term Contract ending August 2026 with potential for extension.
Duties include but not limited to;
* Installation of Paste Reticulation and associated equipment.
* Operation of underground mobile plant including light vehicles, IT?s and flatbed trucks.
* Paste Wall Construction
* Operation of Hand-Held Rock drills.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety protocols.
* Participate in safety meetings and training sessions, promoting a culture of safety and accountability among team members.
* Working in various capacities both underground and on the surface
* Other duties as directed by the Leading Hand or Pastefill Coordinator.
THE PERSON
* Experience underground or in a similar role is preferred however, on the job training is provided.
* Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a plant operating environment.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
* Current police clearance or willingness to obtain
* Strong work ethic and punctual.
* Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
* Smoke free and clean-shaven site.
