We are working with a defense & maritime company and are seeking Procurement Administrator to join their Strategic Procurement team based in Henderson.
Hours: M-F 38 hours per week
Start: ASAP start
Length: Ongoing depending on client requirements
Hourly rate: $50.00 - $60.00 p/h + Super depending on experience
The Role:
A well-established organisation operating within the defense and maritime sustainment sector is seeking a Procurement Administrator to join their Strategic Procurement team based in Henderson.
This role offers the opportunity to support critical supply chain and procurement functions within a structured, high-performing environment.
Reporting to the Strategic Procurement Manager, you will provide administrative and coordination support across supplier onboarding, vendor management, and procurement processes.
You will play a key role in ensuring procurement systems are maintained accurately and that supplier compliance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate new supplier onboarding and maintain vendor records
* Ensure all supplier compliance documentation is current and accurately recorded
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support procurement activities
* Maintain procurement registers, including contracts and agreements
* Monitor shared procurement inboxes and distribute or action queries
* Support subcontract administration and documentation management
* Provide general administrative support to the procurement team
Experience:
* You are a detail-oriented and proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
* Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract administration (or similar)
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook)
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
