About the Role
As a Paramedic with St John Ambulance NT, you will deliver professional, compassionate pre-hospital care to some of Australia’s most diverse and remote communities.
You will:
* Respond to a high volume of medical and trauma cases, applying your full clinical skillset
* Work within a broad scope of practice, supported by the St John NT Clinical Practice Manual
* Demonstrate adaptive and creative thinking when navigating language, cultural, and environmental challenges
* Manage complex cases in remote and austere environments, often requiring 4WD access
* Gain invaluable experience working in extreme weather and truly out-of-the-ordinary conditions
This is real-world paramedicine; unpredictable, demanding, and incredibly rewarding.
About You
You’re passionate about paramedicine and ready to expand your scope and experience. You’ll bring:
* Current registration (or eligibility) with the Paramedicine Board of Australia (AHPRA)
* Experience with a CAA-accredited ambulance service, with independent Authority to Practice
* A current unrestricted manual driver’s licence
* Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian or NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
