This Permanent Part‑Time opportunity (2 days per week) is perfect for someone who enjoys hands‑on outdoor work and wants to stay active, connected, and purposeful-without the demands of full‑time hours. As our Groundskeeper, you'll play an important role in creating safe, welcoming, and well‑kept outdoor spaces where residents and their families can relax, connect, and enjoy time outdoors every day.
This role is based at Henley Brae Retirement Living in Mittagong and is available due to retirement.
Your Contribution
* Maintain lawns, gardens, car park and other outdoor spaces to a high standard
* Operate and care for equipment (ride-on mowers, whipper snippers, etc.)
* Support resident-led garden projects and help make outdoor areas accessible for all
* Work safely and help others do the same
* Respond to feedback and work with the Maintenance/Property Services team to keep everything running smoothly
About You
You care about people and take pride in your work. You'll bring:
* Experience in grounds or garden maintenance
* A practical, can-do attitude and an eye for detail
* Confidence using equipment and basic IT skills (email, excel and word)
* A valid driver's licence and willingness to work outdoors in a physically demanding role
* Friendly, helpful approach with residents, staff, and visitors
* Willingness to get (or already have) a National Criminal History Check for aged care
