What you'll be doing
The Integrated Violence Prevention & Response Service (IVPRS) is responsible for strategic leadership, clinical service provision and capacity building for the portfolio areas of sexual assault, domestic violence and child protection.
The Child Protection Counsellor role is responsible for the provision of specialist therapeutic and case management services to children, young people and their carers who have experienced physical abuse, emotional abuse, domestic violence or neglect.
Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment you must hold current Australian work rights ( Australian citizen, permanent resident or NZ citizen with a current passport).
Essential Criteria:
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling.
Registration: Eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership.
