Senior Associate Engineer, Urban Infrastructure

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a high level of technical expertise, particularly with engineering and construction methods, materials, equipment, and techniques.
* Pre‐empt and resolve on‐site construction problems.
* Strong client and stakeholder relationship management skills and understanding of their drivers.
* Strong growth mindset and ability to train and mentor junior staff.
* Monitor construction progress against program.
* Approve payment of contractor's progress claims and contract variations up to specified limits.
* Ensure the proper and accurate two‐way flow of information in relation to allocated projects.
* Comply with the requirements outlined in the respective roles and responsibilities.
* Proactively collaborate with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and coordination of project deliverables.
About You
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 10‐15 years of Construction Engineering experience.
* Urban, land development, roads and/or municipal project experience.
* Strong understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Australian driver's licence and white card.
* Exposure to multi‐disciplinary design development and authority applications and approvals will be highly regarded.
