Key Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic care, supervision and transport to children and young people.
Actively participate in activities and increase competencies of young people including self-care, self-determination, and independent living skills.
Mentoring of young people through important developmental stages.
Develop, implement, and monitor individual plans.
Professional writing including daily progress notes and incident reports.
Support the involvement of family where possible.Skills & Experience
Relevant education
A current First Aid Certificate
A current unrestricted Driver Licence
Ability to work various shifts (sleepover & active nights)
Prior knowledge and/or experience working with young people with complex trauma histories
If you do not already hold a relevant qualification or you have partially completed a Certificate in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, we are able to support you to undertake/complete this qualification with us whilst on the job.
