* Contribute to maintaining up-to-date documentation of the Legislation Editing and Publishing Services team's processes and procedures.
* Support the team by developing your capability, implementing process improvements and contributing to a supportive and high-performing team environment and culture.
* Assist with the supply of Bills and amendments to Bills to Parliament House and the government printer, the production of 3rd reading drafts of amended Bills, and the certification and notification of subordinate legislation for the Executive Council.
* Provide professional, responsible and accurate research and advice to the OQPC's stakeholders, including clients and members of the public, seeking information about Queensland legislation and the Queensland legislation website.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have

* An understanding of (or ability to quickly acquire) editorial practices and standards, legislative concepts and processes, Parliamentary and Executive Council procedures, and the Bill to Act process.
* Experience using structured authoring tools such as XML and Structured FrameMaker (advantageous but not mandatory).
* A broad understanding of the Queensland Legislation website.
* A high level of attention to detail, discretion and tact.
* A positive attitude and the ability to work well autonomously and in a team.
