We're a busy, well-established joinery business looking for a reliable Cabinetmaker CNC Operator who knows their way around a machine and takes pride in turning out quality work. If you like accuracy, consistency, and a workshop that runs properly, keep reading.
What you'll be doing
* Operating CNC routers for cabinet and joinery production
* Loading programs, setting tools, and running jobs efficiently
* Reading and interpreting cutting lists, drawings, and job specs
* Monitoring machine performance and material usage
* Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe CNC area
* Working closely with the factory team to hit deadlines without cutting corners
What we're looking for
* Experience operating CNC machinery in a cabinet making or joinery environment
* Confidence with nesting software and basic machine troubleshooting
* Strong attention to detail – close enough is not good enough
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Good attitude and respect for the workshop and the team
Bonus points if you have
* Experience with Microvellum
* Understanding of panel optimization and material efficiencies
* Trade background in cabinet making or joinery
