**About the Company**
This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 6-month contract paying up to $816.78 p/d + Super. This role is located in Parramatta/WFH.

**About the Role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a Regulatory Strategy Adviser with a leading NSW Government agency. This role is responsible for the development of strategic advice to identify opportunities and influence to improve regulatory and policy frameworks.
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Prioritize safety as the top concern and exemplify protected behaviour.
- Promote the departments values and behaviours while driving corporate strategic priorities and developing the organization's culture and performance.
- Regularly engage and coordinate with government agencies, water sector participants, and thought leaders to understand the legislative and policy environment.
- Stay updated on water sector reforms and assess the potential impact, opportunities, and risks.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of strong relationships with state and federal governments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive Regulatory Strategy and action plan, aligning with the organization's objectives and maximizing opportunities arising from regulatory changes.

**About you**
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a tertiary institution.
- Knowledge of the water sector and its complex governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Extensive knowledge of public sector regulatory/policy/planning reform processes.
