We're seeking a dedicated Internal Sales & Administration professional to join our close-knit team and play a key role in supporting our customers and operations.

The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with internal sales, customer service, or administration experience (ideally in manufacturing) to be the vital first point of contact for our clients. You'll deliver outstanding service while coordinating with production, engineering, and dispatch teams to keep workflows smooth in our fast-paced precision engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and other channels with a professional and friendly approach
* Process sales orders accurately and enter jobs into our production scheduling system
* Provide basic product information to customers and escalate technical queries to the engineering/CAD team
* Prepare and issue quotes, follow up on lead times, and proactively update customers on order status
* Support purchasing activities, conduct inventory checks, and liaise with suppliers
* Handle general administrative tasks including document management, filing, and office coordination
* Work collaboratively with operations, CAD/engineering, and dispatch teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction

Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in internal sales, customer service, or administration - manufacturing/engineering background highly desirable
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to build strong customer relationships
* High attention to detail and strong accuracy in data entry and order processing
* Proven ability to multitask, prioritise, and thrive in a busy, dynamic environment
* Familiarity with ERP systems, job-costing software, or production scheduling tools will be highly regarded
* Intermediate MS Office skills (especially Excel and Word)
