Senior Part-Time Accounts Officer (Reckon Experienced)
Location: Forrestdale WA 6112
Rate: $40 – $48 per hour + Super
Schedule: 2–3 days per week
Help build the accounts function of a growing company
Boltprep Pty Ltd is a specialist engineering services company supporting major mining operations across Australia.
We are seeking a capable and experienced Accounts Officer to take ownership of our day-to-day accounts using Reckon Accounts Hosted.
As the business grows, we are building a stronger internal accounts function and are looking for an experienced person who can help develop systems that will scale with the company long term.
This role will suit a mature, experienced accounts professional who is a self-starter, enjoys ownership, and wants to help shape how a growing business manages its finances.
Key Responsibilities
* Full responsibility for accounts payable and receivable
* Bank and credit card reconciliations
* BAS preparation and ATO reporting
* Maintain accurate records in Reckon Accounts Hosted
* Support external accountant with reporting
* Monitor cashflow and outstanding invoices
* Take initiative to improve and structure systems as the company grows
* Assist in building processes suitable for a larger future workforce
(Payroll is managed externally and not part of this role.)
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong bookkeeping/accounts experience in an SME environment
* Advanced working knowledge of Reckon Accounts Hosted
* Confident with BAS and ATO compliance
* Self-starter able to work without supervision
* Comfortable taking ownership of accounts function
* Process-minded and able to improve systems
* Reliable, professional, and discreet
