Job Title: Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer who has expertise in designing and delivering water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of water supply systems and be able to apply this knowledge to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop water and wastewater treatment plans, taking into account safety, constructability, operational practices, and relevant Australian standards and codes.
* Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
* Manage small to medium engineering design projects, including site investigations, calculations, modeling, and report preparation.
* Collaborate with other engineers and specialists to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
* Experience working with water utilities or public water authorities is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, operational practices, and relevant Australian standards and codes.
* Understanding of risk management and the ability to identify project and design-related risks.
