About the role
We have significant opportunities in the Pilbara region due to multiple project awards. We are seeking experienced professionals to work on Earthworks and Pavements construction projects to ensure the successful delivery of projects in the North West region of WA.
This role is a full time position where you will be working on a 2:1 (14 days on/7 days off) FIFO Roster.
Key Responsibilities
* The preparation of Project Plans and JSEAs or SWMS which include; safety, quality assurance and environmental considerations.
* The identification of needs relating to and procurement of plant, labour and materials - within the limits of delegation.
* Select project personnel, allocate work, monitor progress, and have overall responsibility for ensuring that the following functions are carried out effectively.
About You
1. Experience in the rail/construction industry and Earthworks & Pavements construction projects essential
2. Mentoring experience for supervisors
* Commitment to the environment, quality and safety
* Management of large work forces on and off site
* Well-developed planning skills
* Well-developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Understanding and ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
* Comprehensive knowledge of the rail industry
* Assist in the development of the construction methodology
