Student Residences is responsible for delivering safe, supportive and well‐maintained colleges across our Rockhampton and Mackay campuses, ensuring students live in an environment that supports their wellbeing and academic success.
As Residential Facilities Coordinator, you will coordinate day to day maintenance operations across our residential colleges. You will supervise contractors, oversee maintenance planning and preventative programs, support budget monitoring and ensure facilities, equipment and grounds are maintained to a high standard. Working under the direction of Student Residences Management, coordinating with internal stakeholders and service providers, you will help deliver compliant, efficient and responsive maintenance services.
We are seeking a proactive facilities professional with strong trade capability, sound WHS knowledge and experience coordinating contractors in a residential or similar environment. You will bring practical expertise, sound judgement and a commitment to maintaining safe, high quality living environments for students.

Position Requirements
* Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices within a maintenance environment.
* Experience contract management, including scoping works and coordinating contractors.
* Demonstrated financial and quality management capability, including budget monitoring and reporting support.
* Strong trade skills with the physical capacity to perform maintenance and grounds duties.
* Proven ability to coordinate maintenance services, prioritise tasks and deliver high quality customer service.
