Strategic Governance Opportunity

We seek exceptional directors and committee advisors to join our board, driving growth and impact across community health services.

This is an opportunity for strategic thinkers and governance experts to contribute to our ongoing transformation and innovation strategy. Our purpose-driven organisation delivers accessible holistic community health services across Melbourne's south and southeast.

The successful candidates will govern a for-purpose organisation with a commitment to rigorous governance, collaborative decision-making, and health equity.

* Contribute to the development of our organisational strategy and transformation initiatives.
* Govern our delivery of integrated community health services, wellbeing, and support services in Melbourne's inner-south and southeastern suburbs.
* Influence policy and practice across community health, disability, mental health, and aged care sectors.

Our organisation provides integrated community health, wellbeing, and support services across Melbourne's inner-south and southeastern suburbs. Our purpose is driven by delivering accessible health and wellbeing services that meet the needs of our community.


Available Positions

* 3 Board Director positions (3-year terms)
* 2 Independent Committee Advisor roles (1-year terms, flexible commencement)

Candidates will be considered for both roles based on their experience, expertise, and organisational fit.


Key Skill Areas

* Finance & Commercial Acumen – Experienced board director with financial sustainability expertise, deep understanding of NFP/Community Health funding models.
* Digital Transformation & Technology - Strategic technology leadership, systems integration experience, digital innovation in healthcare settings.
* Clinical Governance & Quality Safety - Healthcare quality frameworks, regulatory compliance, accreditation oversight, patient safety expertise.
* People & Culture Leadership - Organisational development, change management, cultural integration, workforce transformation.
* Community and stakeholder engagement.
* Demonstrated board experience with strong governance and risk capabilities.
* Strategic thinking and decision-making expertise.
* Understanding of not-for-profit/community health sector dynamics.
* Commitment to health equity and community-centred care.
