About This Role
This leadership position is designed to provide critical support across Mount Isa Flexible School.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including the Head of Campus, Area Principal, and Regional Support Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Tertiary qualifications in Teaching or Social Behavioural Sciences are desirable. The role also requires a valid Blue Card and a current open driver's license.
* Demonstrated commitment to Edmund Rice Education Australia's values, particularly building inclusive communities based on Touchstones principles.
* Proven leadership experience in developing programs for young people at risk, with a focus on key accountabilities, staff support, and reflective practice to enhance learning outcomes.
* Expertise in leading trauma-transformative practice and wellbeing support that promotes learner identity, social outcomes, and education re-engagement.
* Ability to develop diverse learning choices and assessments that cater to individual needs and learning styles.
* Leadership commitment to a multi-disciplinary community reflecting on collaborative working under Respect, Safety and Legal, Honesty and Participation principles.
