We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team in Perth, working across the International Trade Statistics Program, Agriculture Statistics Program, and Environmental and Satellite Accounts Program.
About the Role:
* Solving problems, undertaking research, and statistical analysis.
* Collecting and compiling statistics for publication.
* Writing and presenting reports for various audiences.
* Assisting with team management.
* Contributing to strategy development and planning that support the organization's objectives.
* Partnering with stakeholders to ensure data quality.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills.
* Strong organisational skills, decision-making abilities, and communication skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
Desirable Attributes:
* Demonstrated experience or qualifications in data science, economics, or statistics.
* Demonstrated experience in computer programming (especially SAS or R).
Requirements:
* Reliable commute or relocation before starting work.
* Australia work authorization.
