Painting and Decorator Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team. As a key member of the construction crew, you will be responsible for applying finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and other structures.
The ideal candidate will have a trade Certificate Level IV in Painting and Decorating or an agreed substitute, and at least one year of experience in the field. You will possess strong communication skills, with a focus on teamwork, patience, and empathy.
A clear Driver's License is essential, and you must have unrestricted full-time Australian working rights to be considered.
This is a full-time salaried position, offering a competitive salary range of $75k to $80k plus superannuation per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Applying paints, varnishes, and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces
* Preparing surfaces for painting, including washing, scraping, sanding, and smoothing
* Installing, repairing, and maintaining internal surfaces, walls to ceilings
* Working safely at heights using ladders and planks
* Safely handling and disposing of hazardous materials
Requirements:
* Trade Certificate Level IV in Painting and Decorating or agreed substitute
* At least one year of experience in the field
* Strong communication skills, with a focus on teamwork, patience, and empathy
* Clear Driver's License
* Unrestricted full-time Australian working rights
