About the Role The Senior Manager, Education Transformation Integration is a key leadership role responsible for driving the successful implementation of Swinburne’s Education Transformation agenda under the Ad Astra_2030 strategy. Leading a specialist integration function, you will provide strategic oversight of transformation delivery across the University, ensuring initiatives are coordinated, sequenced and delivered as part of a coherent and connected transformation portfolio spanning all learner cohorts, delivery contexts and education pathways. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the University, you will establish and embed the frameworks, governance, planning processes and delivery practices that enable effective transformation implementation. You will provide authoritative advice on priorities, risks, dependencies and resource allocation, supporting informed decision‑making and ensuring alignment across a complex portfolio of interdependent initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Demonstrated experience applying structured delivery methodologies (e.g. SAFe or equivalent) within complex organisations to lead integrated transformation delivery across multiple interdependent workstreams.
Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and judgement under broad direction, including making decisions within delegated authority and providing authoritative advice within governance frameworks.
Highly developed stakeholder engagement, influencing and co‑design capability, including building alignment and shared ownership across senior academic, professional and executive stakeholders within complex institutional contexts.
Demonstrated ability to prepare high‑quality governance materials and provide clear advice on complex issues, risks, options, resource trade‑offs and implementation impacts, supported by strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong strategic planning and integration capability, including the ability to translate organisational strategy into coordinated implementation plans and measurable outcomes.
Qualifications Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
