Botanica Bar is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking HEAD/SENIOR CHEF who is passionate about back of house operations. The ideal candidate for this position will be a natural leader who isn't afraid of change to streamline our operations The HEAD/SENIOR CHEF will be responsible for assigning work in the kitchen, preparing meals for our patrons, interviewing and training staff, kitchen inventory management, rostering and the ability to develop delicious new items for our menu.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Minimum 2+ years working as a HEAD/SENIOR CHEF, or in a management/ leadership position within a back of house team.
* The ability to work cohesively and collaboratively with members of back of house and front of house teams, within a fast paced environment.
* Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
* Experience with COGS management
* The ability to develop new menu items when required, sometimes within small timeframes.
* Prior experience with rostering and people management.
* Passion for customer service and delicious food
