We have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced plant operator to work onroad construction projects across the Narrandera and Riverina area. The role will be based from a depot at Narrandera.
Applicants should have proven experience on a variety of earthworks plant including bobcat, excavator, roller, backhoe, grader etc.
A current, unrestricted LR driver licence, or above, is essential.
This work crew will travel for work on a frequent basis, staying away for a week at a time. Accommodation is provided in this situation, and allowances paid to cover out of pocket expenses.
Whilst plant operating will be the primary focus of this role, applicants must also be willing to undertake manual labouring duties as required to assist the team in completing required job tasks.
You will be working full time hours of work, up to 10 hours per day and working a 9 day fortnight (3 day weekend every 2nd week)
This role will commence early January and run until 30th June initially with potential of further work being available for good quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.

Plant Operating with proven ability to operate a variety of construction plant
current WHS White Card - essential
Driver licence - unrestricted Australian licence, LR truck licence or above
Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
