About the role:
Council is seeking an application from an enthusiastic, experienced and suitably qualified person to join our team as Senior Local Laws Officer.
About you:
The successful candidate will:
* Lead the local laws team in the compliance of local laws and legislative requirements as per applicable Acts.
* Manage investigations of compliance matters including dog attacks and other community complaints
* Support the Community Compliance Coordinator in reviewing, updating and implementing policies, procedure and strategic plans for local laws and animal compliance.
* Deliver education and engagement programs to promote community awareness, compliance and responsible pet ownership.
