We are seeking an exceptional Fire Systems Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire detection and suppression systems in accordance with Australian Standards and Defence requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Fire Systems Testing and Inspections, industry experience in fire systems inspection, testing, maintenance and repair, and the ability to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain, test, inspect and repair fire detection and suppression systems in line with Australian Standards, Defence requirements and manufacturer specifications.
* Complete scheduled maintenance activities and respond to corrective maintenance tasks.
* Ensure all records and test results are completed accurately and entered into systems.
* Liaise with Defence representatives regarding system status, maintenance requirements and outages.
